Duetto, QM67, Andreja, etc. - Leaky Steam Wand/Hot Water Tap

This article will help you if you are experiencing a leak from either your steam wand or your hot water tap. Before attempting repair, unplug your machine and verify it has cooled. Tools you will need:

• Small flat screwdriver
• Larger tapered flat screw driver
• Thread sealer

Start by using the small flat screwdriver to pry the center cap away from the knob...

Next, remove the retaining clip and small brass washer behind it...

Lastly, remove knob from machine. Using a tapered flat screwdriver inserted into the center of the brass cap to back it out. Apply thread sealer to threads. Securely tighten brass cap back into housing. Allow plenty of dry time. Re-assemble Knob components...
